RepVault’s filtering system helps you zero in on the most impactful and relevant content, whether you're tracking media coverage, social conversations, or stakeholder sentiment. The Relevance & Reach Filter gives you control over what you see by allowing you to set minimum thresholds for three key parameters.
Filter Parameters Explained
Each filter uses a slider ranging from 0 to 1000, where 1000 represents the highest possible relevance or reach. You can adjust the sliders to set a minimum score for each parameter, ensuring that only the most significant articles and posts appear in your results.
1. 🏢 Company Significance
Measures how prominently the selected company is mentioned in the content.
Higher scores indicate:
More frequent mentions
Greater emphasis on the selected company
Focused coverage - mentions amongst others dilute the focus
2. 🧠 Topic Significance
Assesses how central your chosen topic is to the article or post.
Higher scores reflect:
Strong thematic alignment
Clear relevance to your selected issue or theme
Greater focus on your chosen topic
3. 📣 Reach
Estimates the potential audience size or visibility of the content.
Higher scores suggest:
Wider distribution (e.g., national media, viral social posts)
Greater influence or engagement
More credible or high-traffic source
How to Use the Sliders
Set a minimum threshold for each parameter to refine your results.
For example:
Setting Company Significance ≥ 800 will show only stories where your company is a major focus.
Setting Reach ≥ 700 will filter out low-visibility posts and highlight those with broader impact.
✅ Why It Matters
Using these filters helps you:
Focus on high-quality, high-impact content
Avoid being overwhelmed by low-relevance noise
