Themes in PolecatX help you understand how conversations, risks and opportunities are clustering around key topics. You can update, regenerate or replace themes at any time depending on how your focus evolves.
🔍 1. How AI-generated themes work
AI-generated themes are created based on the entities and filters selected at the time of generation.
If you later change your filters or adjust your entities, you may want to create a new set to reflect the updated context.
✨ 2. Create a new theme set
You can generate new themes at any time by going to:
Themes → Set up new themes
This will create a separate theme set without affecting your existing one.
🔁 3. Overwrite the current theme set
If you’d prefer to update your existing set:
Click the arrow next to the theme set name
Select Generate new themes
⚠️ Note: This will overwrite the existing theme descriptions.
🗂️ 4. Name your theme sets
Each theme set can be given a unique name.
This allows you to:
Re-use the same set later
Track how theme relevance changes over time (e.g. “H2 2024 ESG Themes”)
⭐ 5. Set a default theme set
You can mark any theme set as default, making it the primary set used across your analysis.
