How do I select a date range?

InsideTrack will show data for the past 180 days as default (including the current day). You can select a date range of your choice either by using the drag handles to highlight the range you are interested in, selecting a single day or using the shortcuts available (last 1 day, 30 days, 60 days, 180 days).

What does the histogram show?

The histogram shows you the daily volume of documents for your query. The total volume for the whole period selected is also displayed in the top left-hand corner. This view allows you to see how the volume has changed over time and identify points of interest. Volume can also be used as an indicator to signify when you may need to broaden or narrow your search.
