Roles allow differentiation in what people can see and access within the Polecat Hub, providing control over what users in your organisation get to see.

There are 3 types of roles:

 Viewer

 Contributor

 Admin

There will be a different level of control, access and editing rights within the Polecat Hub, dependent on the role.

Viewer – Best for those who need basic access for monitoring

· Gives the ability to see RepVault and use Taxonomies, Companies and Filters available

· Allows the ability to create Notes and send to another user to view

Contributor – Best for those who create reports and wants to share information from RepVault

· All viewer abilities

· Able to edit, create and delete Executive News Briefs (ENB’s)

· Can create, edit, and delete Portfolios

· Can create, edit, and delete Taxonomies

Admin – Best for those who regularly use RepVault and want control over access

· All viewer & contributor abilities

· Able to view all users in an organization

· Able to edit roles for users in an organization

· Able to add, delete and resend invites to users in an organisation

· Able to activate and deactivate users in an organisation

Admins will get access to an extra section within the Settings app called Organisation Settings. This gives control over all users within the organization. The first user within RepVault will always be the first Admin – so will have the full capabilities of the platform. The Admin role is able to be passed along to another user, but an organisation must always have one Admin.
