What is it?
Have you ever noticed an article that doesn’t quite fit your report narrative dominating the headlines? Or wanted to really hone in on a specific conversation theme you’ve noticed starting to gain traction within your tracked Taxonomies? RepVault’s new filter, ‘Phrases’ allows you to react quickly to the information you’re seeing and easily refine the data you’re working with without leaving the platform.
You can include key terms or phrases to ensure their presence in the conversation and/or exclude them to remove irrelevant articles.
How does it work?
Simply type the word or words you’d like to include or exclude, click the arrow or hit enter to add them and then choose whether you’d like to include/exclude ‘All’ of the terms you’ve entered or ‘Any’. Choosing ‘All’ will look for documents where every term you enter is present while ‘Any’ will look for any individual reference of any of the terms entered.
Exclude terms will take priority over includes - for example, if you choose to include the terms “nuclear energy” or “nuclear power” (ANY) but choose to exclude the term ‘station’ any documents that reference “nuclear power station” will not appear in the results.
Once applied, the keyword filter looks for exact matches of the words or phrases you enter within the document set already identified as impactful for a given entity/taxonomy pairing.
The Phrases filter works in conjunction with RepVault’s existing filters and across all supported languages. As with all filters, they remain active across all insight pages (Profile, Trends, Comparison) and any downloads or pinned insights will contain the relevant filter parameters.
You are also able to use the Phrases Filter in RepVault ENBs. This works in exactly the same was as the RepVault Profiles filter and allows you to ensure the content of your ENB meets your needs.
